Data Structure

In this short lesson, we'll examine how data is often structured across various modern marketing tools.

  • Data structure often refers to the the way the data is coded and how it can be recieved by different tools.
  • JSON, or Javascript Objective Notation is a key value pair system that can be numbers, strings, booleans, or nested sets of data. It is common to see this data articulated in curly brackets, such as { }.
  • An array, denoted by straight brackets [ ], is an ordered number of items (like a matrix) listed in a row. These values can be accessed by referring to the index in the array.
